Shotgun red dot sight for intuitive shot placement
With the Acro (Advanced Compact Reflex Optic) S2, the Swedish manufacturer Aimpoint has developed a state-of-the-art red dot sight especially for shotgun shooters. The 9 MOA red dot (6 MOA on the previous model) is designed to enable beginners in particular to shoot the shotgun much more intuitively than with a rear sight and front sight. Shooting is easier, which in turn automatically improves the swing and alignment of the barrel. According to the manufacturer, hunters who have problems with eye dominance should also find it easier to shoot accurately with the shotgun. The lens system is compactly installed in a robust aluminum housing. The closed design prevents the lenses from fogging up, ensuring a clear view even in adverse weather conditions.
If you want to practise handling the shotgun or intuitive shooting with it for a while, there is no need to hurry with the Aimpoint Acro S2. The battery life is 50,000 hours.
Easy handling thanks to reduced range of functions
When developing the Acro S2 red dot sight, Aimpoint concentrated on the essentials and made it extremely easy to use thanks to a reduced control panel. The red dot sight can be switched on and off and the brightness of the red dot can be adjusted using two buttons. There are screws on the side and top for mounting on the shotgun and adjusting after firing. With its compact design, the 2nd generation Aimpoint Acro is extremely light - just 74 g including the mount.
