The Atom Heavyweight Hoody insulates with puffy Coreloft insulation material inside, which is far superior to classic fleece jackets due to its extremely high insulation capacity. The Coreloft is extremely compressible, so that the Atom Heavyweight jacket can be easily packed up and taken along without taking up much space.

The Atom Heavyweight Hoody is the first compact cold protection jacket that offers hunters maximum warmth with minimum bulk. It can either be worn over all other layers of clothing (possibly take 1 size larger) or between other layers of clothing. This extreme insulation layer is also interesting if it is put on as the outermost insulating layer and an oversized camouflage suit is put on over it: this not only keeps you warm and cozy, but also provides perfect camouflage.

We recommend (unfortunately the Atom Heavyweight is not completely silent, but the quiet crumpling of a paper handkerchief is already much louder) using it as an intermediate layer and wearing your usual fleece jacket over it as the outermost layer - here too you benefit from the cozy warm insulation layer and have a kind of "noise damping" through the fleece jacket on top.
