Böker BFF Packlite Walnut
Product information "Böker BFF Packlite Walnut"
Böker Manufaktur Solingen: BFF Packlite Walnut
The Böker BFF Packlite is a groundbreaking knife, the ideal companion for all situations, a true BFF (Best Friend Forever). The knife is characterized by its compact design, with a total length of only 15.4 cm, and its low weight of only 37 g(!). The 6.5 cm long blade made of modern stainless and powder metallurgical CPM MagnaCut with a stonewash finish is extremely sharp and stays sharp for a long time.
The handle scales made of local walnut wood give the knife an elegant look and fit comfortably in the hand, but can be removed thanks to the Torx screws to save weight. Thanks to the skeletonized handle, the knife weighs only 31 g without the handle scales. The well-fitting Kydex sheath offers a variety of carrying options, e.g., as a neck knife with the included ball chain. (The Kydex sheath only fits with handle scales; there is another Kydex sheath available separately for the knife without handle scales.) This makes the BFF Packlite ideal as an everyday carry (EDC) companion, as a knife for ultralight backpacking or bikepacking, or as a backup for bushcraft, hunting, or fishing.
The BFF Packlite was designed by renowned knife designer Lucas Burnley in his “post-tactical” style. It is manufactured by the traditional German company Böker, which has been in existence since 1869 and still manufactures in the German city of Solingen today.
