‘Max’ the Magpie – A compact, all-purpose knife from Australia
Max is a high-quality and attractive pocket knife with a distinctive design.
Like its namesake (the magpie, native to Australia), Max is fairly compact, yet always ready when you need it.
The 7.5 cm long drop-point blade is crafted from the modern, high-performance CPM MagnaCut steel and, with a hardness of 60 HRC, promises excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance, whilst also offering very good toughness. It opens via a back flipper and locks reliably thanks to the liner lock – a blade you can always rely on.
The handle successfully echoes the Magpie’s colour scheme with its black-and-white contrast. It is made from dark ebony and white synthetic resin, thus combining modern and classic elements. Protrusions on the liners, crafted using an integral construction, add further chrome accents and ensure stability.
