Koi Knives: “Ray” the Raven – The all-round utility knife for heavy-duty use
Ravens are among the most intelligent songbirds, just as this special knife has been thought through down to the very last detail.
The knife’s 9.9 cm long, tactical Wharncliff blade is just as imposing as a raven’s beak. It is made from high-quality, tried-and-tested Sandvik 14C28N steel and has been hardened to 58 HRC. It opens via a back flipper and locks reliably thanks to the liner lock.
The knife was designed for particularly demanding tasks, which is why the backspacer is made from a solid piece of steel, ensuring additional stability for the handle.
The handle of this knife is as jet-black as the plumage of a real raven. Everything on this knife is black: the blade, liners, liner lock, backspacer, as well as all the screws, the clip and even the stop pin are black-coated. The handle scales, in turn, are made from equally deep-black and robust G10.
