Helinox - Outdoor furniture for hunters, campers & hikers

At first, people sat on the ground when they wanted to sit down in nature. Later, they carried their heavy chairs and tables outside. Then the Korean company DAC made it their mission to develop lightweight furniture that could easily be taken out into nature: The Helinox brand was founded.
Before that, there were several years of development and research until 2000, when the first prototype for an outdoor chair was created by Helinox. In 2011, the company introduced itself with trekking poles at an outdoor trade show in Salt Lake City. Just two years later, Helinox was spun off as an independent company and is now larger than DAC. The manufacturer is headed by Young Lah, the son of DAC founder Jake Lah.

Innovative outdoor equipment with low dead weight

Helinox is one of the world leaders in lightweight outdoor gear - thanks in part to several innovations that have been developed and field-tested over the years. These include the exclusive TH72M aluminum alloy, which enables lightweight equipment with high strength and durability. Thus, the environmentally friendly anodizing ensures that the outdoor furniture achieves reliable performance even in the harshest conditions, is durable and extremely resilient.
Helinox's products - chairs, tables, loungers - are therefore characterized above all by their very low dead weight and extreme resilience at the same time. Durability refers not only to outdoor use in harsh conditions and different weather conditions, but also to the weight load. For example, Helinox chairs like Chair One can support up to 145 kg - and at the same time it itself weighs less than 1 kg (about 960 g). The Korean company wouldn't be the innovative manufacturer it is if they couldn't top this: Helinox Chair Zero, for example, weighs only about 490 g with a maximum load limit of 120 kg.
The combination of very low dead weight (combined with a small pack size) and extreme strength brings numerous advantages for hunters and all other outdoor enthusiasts who rely on lightness, transportability and quality for their equipment. Thanks to the folding system, the chairs, tables and couches can be effortlessly folded and set up without tools.

The manufacturer primarily develops chairs, tables and loungers for outdoor use:

• Chairs are available in different variants - from low floor chairs to classic camping chairs to high-back chairs. Helinox now also offers stools. These are particularly easy to transport and are ideal, for example, for longer waiting times during hunting or nature observation.
• Side table, café table, dining table: even outdoor activities do not have to lack comfort. Tables are also offered by the manufacturer with foldable aluminum frame as well as different table tops - among others made of foldable polyester or sturdy aluminum.
• The couches serve as foldable camp beds and are just right for those who like to lie a little above the ground. The special DAC frame also ensures maximum durability and low dead weight here.
