The 1st generation of the Classic illuminated fron sights was characterised by the fact that it was operated with a light emitting diode for the first time and the open sight could therefore be used independently of daylight. At the same time, the Classic LED sight also functions passively just like the regular sight when the LED is not switched on. The LED-Sight is attractive compared to red dot sights - because they cost considerably less.
