Tool Sharp Ken Onion Edition: Sharpening knives quite simply and quite sharply - even for high-quality knives! The Tool Sharp Ken Onion Edition was created in cooperation with the famous custom knifemaker Ken Onion. Numerous improvements to the predecessor model have been implemented: With this model, the grinding angle can now be selected steplessly and variably. The speed of the grinding belt can be adjusted between 1200 and 2800 SFM (Surface Feet per minute) and is therefore better suited for high-quality blades. The knife guide has been changed, the sanding belt has become wider (but the old sanding belts can also be used!) and is available in finer increments. The housing of the knife sharpener is made of high-quality cast aluminium (the predecessor was made of plastic). Overall, this knife sharpener is much higher quality than its predecessor and offers a variety of more options and applications (an optional sharpening attachment is available). The previous model is still available and thus offers an inexpensive entry option. However, the new Ken Onion Edition is recommended for high-quality knives!

Hunting knives - a versatile tool for hunting
For the various types of work on hunted game, a sturdy hunting knife is required above all, which is always available as a folding or fixed version. Folding knives can be easily and securely stowed on a belt or in a bag. A protective cover is required for the fixed version, but it also needs to be protected from shocks and scratches.
As a rule, a universal hunting knife has a 7 to 12 cm long blade with a bulbous shape. These types of knives are particularly suitable for work on animals. If you want to use your hunting knife for other purposes, it is better to use survival knives. Thanks to the usually coarser blade, the survival knives are more stable and can therefore also be used for example to make small firewood without problems.
